I havent seen a game which is this easy to pick up and yet also so very fascinating and deep in quite some time. Bastion is proof that even in 2012 great video games do NOT need to come from huge studios.

I was very conflicted when buying this game. I HATE when technology doesnt work right. So when I heard this game was having some trouble I wasnt too thrilled. However, I decided to get it after the 1st update, and after playing through the entire game I havent had a problem! Beyond that, the gameplay is fantastic! I had a lot of fun. The storyline is great, and the narrator really sets this game apart. I would definitely recommend this game!

This new update makes it crash! Now all I see is a black screen with small glowing orbs floating in the corners..along with a faded red color..cant see anything, although it seems like I can move around..please fix!!!

Im disappointed to say that once this game loads, I also am experiencing the blank screen with floating red dots. Its a shame, as I was looking forward to this game based on earlier reviews. Please fix!

This game is amazing but all I see are floating orbs… I want to play this game please, i gave you my money and love what you do fix it please!

If youre like me and downloaded the game, but werent able to play because it comes up with a screen showing nothing but stars, try adjusting your screen resolution. Apparenly, I must have had mine too high for my little MacBook Air. With the screen resolution adjusted, its working great. Its a fun little game with an obvious amount of love from the developers. It would be a shame missing out on playing it over something as easy as changing your resolution in game. Hope this is helpful.

The game is amazing and I cant stop playing. I do get annoyed with the jitteriness but I just adjust my resolution and revert back to fix it.

Original music, hand-painted graphics, and great gameplay! This is easily one of the best games Ive played in a long time! The story line is interesting, levels/scenarios are long enough, but not too short. Game evolves, characters evolve, and did I mention storyline! Im about to play it a second time since it is that good. Zero, I say that again, zero issues on MacBook from 2009.

This is a great game, loads of fun, the graphics have a great art style and totally fits the atmosphere. The only problem is that in the current update you cant see anything, supposedly you can change your screen resolution to fix it, but I have yet to get that to work… Over all, its a fantastic game, If you can actually get it to work. *EDIT* Changing the resolution does infact work, just click the size that would make the window fit the entire screen, and if its still just black then click a smaller resolution, then back to the bigger one

This update has so far fixed all the graphical woes I had been experiencing on the Mac Mini (mid-2011). Game play is much smoother and emersive. Completely worth it!

I bought this app after the update was fixed. There was no graphical problems at all and the game looked amazing. The game play is great and the story is really deep once you get into it. But, the best thing about this game was the music. The game is worth $15 just for the music. It even works with a gamepad.

I guess youd have two worries, finding a game like this, stranded in a sea of unfulfilled and unfulfilling apps. One, is it a good game? Im too honest a man to give you my word, I just say how it is, and this ones mighty fine. If you dont believe me, well, theres plenty of others whove had a thing or two to say about this game. Two, does it run well on your particular contraption. Now I cant speak for all such devices, but on my little machination, it ran just fine. Might even have earned a tear or two from these cold hard eyes of mine. Dont worry friend, siddle up a bit closer to the fire, its plenty warm . . . and I got a story to tell

The game is amazing. Ive played on different platforms and really enjoyed it. However, upon installation I found my controllers werent recognized. Ok, so I went to use the keyboard and mouse, not my favorite but I can make it work. When starting the game, the floor did not show up. The game is great when it can be played. Not being able to see the floor is a gamebreaker. I dont like this version and feel like I wasted money.

The graphics, gameplay, and story are top-notch. The narration really sets this game apart, too. Cant believe this thing is only $15. Havent had a single problem in ~10 hours of playing. Quit dawdling and just buy the bloody thing. Youll have as much fun as Im having.

The game finally has all bugs fixed and it is now possible to play in full resolution. The game is extremely good, I do highly recommend it. Definetly a good title in the hack and slash genre. The game is easily worth $15 any day.

Im plaing on my Macbook (not pro) and this game works amazingly! The art/graphics are phenominal, the music is amazing, the narration blows you away as you play, and its challenging content and wide variety of weapons/upgrades/challenges/worlds simply make this game a complete win to play. I honsetly cannot find any fault with this game. I bought or for like- seven dollars while it was on sale from its usual fifteen. If I knew beforehand how good this game was, the fifteen to get it would have been completely worth it. Seriously, get the app, and enjoy! Just relax and let the story and gameplay carry you away!
